Who doesn’t love a little BTS action?! Last month, we shared the teaser trailer for “Skateboarding with Saddam” an independent movie directors Bayou Bennett and Daniel Lir. Now our Hollywood friends have released the behind the scene video of the trailer shoot. If you are out of the loop, let us fill you in. It’s a coming of age story set in 1990 that features skateboarding, love and missiles. We were stoked to support this unique skate movie by providing proper footwear to create an authentic early 90s vibe, suiting the cast up with our reissued Prototypes and Enigmas. Andy Mac Heads to Barcelona
Twenty two. That’s how many X Games medals Andy Macdonald has. That number is already legendary, but Andy Mac is always hungry for more. Just a few weeks ago he took fourth in both Park and Vert down in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, and now he has his sights sets on Barcelona. Make sure to check ESPN May 16th – 19th to root Andy on!

It’s time for another Already Famous Airwalk release. The LES features an street inspired tie dyed print on the mid-upper and an all-black toe box and heel counter. The shoe offers durability with a canvas and vulcanized rubber construction, as well as great board feel from a lightweight, yet grippy outsole.

Our Hollywood friends are at it again! Check out the new teaser trailer for “Skateboarding with Saddam” independent film. We shared some BTS pics of the trailer shoot last month, and the final product is pretty awesome. The shoes look pretty damn good if we don’t say so ourselves. 39 is the new 29, or at least for Airwalk skater Andy Macdonald. This weekend at the Summer X Games in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, Andy once again proves that age is only a state of mind. If you weren’t able to catch the action this weekend, he took 4th place in both Vert and Park, once again showing that he’s an X Games legend! Make sure you tweet Andy and congratulate him!

Long time Airwalk skater Andy Mac is already in Brazil getting his deck warmed up for another X Games competition down in Foz do Iguacu . There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Andy is a legend of the Summer X Games, racking up the highest overall medal count with 22. Will he pull in another one? We just shook out magic eightball and “Signs Point to Yes” showed up. Win!
