Today marks the release of our first Airwalk athlete video for 2013! To kick this year off right we’re presenting Airwalk legend, Andy Macdonald. Airwalk skate legend and all around great guy Andy Mac has released his first full length video in over twelve years. The video is epic, as to be expected, and comes accompanied with a custom soundtrack from Mix Master Mike. Pretty slick, right?

Andy Mac Takes Bronze!
Unbelievable, this guy is unstoppable! Skateboarding icon and Airwalk superstar, Andy Macdonald, placed third this past weekend at the 2012 Summer X Games in the intense vert contest. Competing against legends PLG, Sandro Dias, Bucky Lasek and Danny Mayer, Andy held is own and threw together an amazing run to lock in the bronze medal spot. He even busted out a new kick flip 540 trick to wow the judges. Congratulations to Andy for increasing his X Games medal count to 22!
Summer X Games 2012

Andy Mac at the Pro-Tec Pool Party
Andy took 4th at the 8th Annual Vans Pro Tec Pool Party this past weekend. With a large prize purse at stake, the skaters put on a killer show in Orange County. Andy Mac secured his number four spot behind Pedro Barros, Rune Glifberg and Bucky Lasek. Catch all the photos and videos here.
Hangin’ with Andy Mac
Andy Macdonald was in Colorado this past weekend shreddin’ the slopes. Not only was he busy boarding, he hosted a night skate session at Woodward at Copper. He gave a skate demo at their awesome indoor skate park up and sessioned with a bunch of kids. The kids who participated had a blast, and got some sweet giveaways!

Andy Mac is heading out to Mumbai, India with his good buddy, Tony Hawk. They’re setting up and putting on the first skateboarding demo, which is sure to be a pretty spectacular event. Just watch the video above!

Contest season is over and Andy Mac is celebrating another successful year on his skateboard. Andy’s season started off with a Gold Medal at the Asia X Games and continued on to an overall 5th place positioning at the Dew Tour.
