China is a lucky place for Tulio as he always seems to podium when he competes in the Kia Extreme Games. This year he is taking home the bronze medal in the street contest. Team Airwalk is racking up the medals!
Airwalk surfer Granger Larsen made a quick pit stop at home in Hawaii after his time in down Australia. Now he’s in Brazil on the hunt for good waves. Can’t keep track of this guy!
39 is the new 29, or at least for Airwalk skater Andy Macdonald. This weekend at the Summer X Games in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, Andy once again proves that age is only a state of mind. If you weren’t able to catch the action this weekend, he took 4th place in both Vert and Park, once again showing that he’s an X Games legend! Make sure you tweet Andy and congratulate him!
Long time Airwalk skater Andy Mac is already in Brazil getting his deck warmed up for another X Games competition down in Foz do Iguacu . There’s no doubt in anyone’s mind that Andy is a legend of the Summer X Games, racking up the highest overall medal count with 22. Will he pull in another one? We just shook out magic eightball and “Signs Point to Yes” showed up. Win!

Tulio Oliveira is straight up owning it down in Brazil. This street skater just released his own shoe down there, has been organizing competitions, and continues to shred each and every day. We had a chance to bring Tulio out to Panama City for our photo shoot and caught a ton of amazing footage of him and Andy Mac skating through the city. Here’s a little recap of the action.
Our South American street skater Tulio Oliveira has his first pair of Airwalk signature kicks droppin’ later this month. Tulio’s already been shredding up Sao Paulo in these and absolutely loves them. Right now these are only available down in Brazil, but that may change soon, so keep your eyes peeled.
Tulio’s inaugural CONC LINE JAM event in Sao Paolo went off last weekend drawing the 30 best skaters in Brazil to compete in front of a huge crowd and local media. The event was held at the Metro Conceicao Subway Station where Tulio dropped some obstacles, set up a DJ and got the contest going. Big prizes were given out to the winners and Airwalk swag was handed out to all participants.
It was great to see Tulio giving so much back to the skate community in his country. Check out some of the coverage his event received:
We’re back with another Airwalk athlete playlist. This time we’re taking a look at what’s on Brazilian native Tulio Oliveira’s skate playlist. Looks like he’s got some classic rap, a few remixes, and a rad violin cover. Make sure to tweet at Tulio and tell him what’s on your playlist.
We’re so happy to have Tulio as a part of the Airwalk team because let’s face it, the guy is killing it. Make sure to watch ESPN later today to catch the full video premier from his trip to Barcelona.
Nice work Tulio!
